KILLERS OF THE JUNGLE: INDIAS TIGER POPULATION

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary offers a sobering look at the state of India's tiger population, highlighting the critical decline with an estimated 5,000 tigers remaining in the wild. It commendably points to conservation initiatives like India's Project Tiger, which strives to safeguard these magnificent creatures and their habitats. The film underscores the importance of protected areas, such as national parks, in this ongoing battle for survival and touches upon the potential role of reintroducing captive-bred tigers. While the focus is on the challenges, it also serves as an informative piece on the dedicated efforts underway to ensure the future of tigers in India.
