KILLER BEES

Cinemavixion Review

The documentary "Killer Bees" offers a poignant look at the Bridgehampton High School basketball team, a squad whose significance extends far beyond the court. Produced by NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal, the film delves into the team's legacy within the African-American community, portraying them as a potent symbol of hope amidst the stark realities of racial discrimination, gentrification, and extreme income inequality in the Hamptons. Director Ben Cummings, alongside cast members Carl Johnson and Joe Zucker, crafts a narrative that highlights the resilience and aspirations of these young athletes, making it a compelling watch for those interested in sports, community, and social issues.
