KILLED BY "RICH HOOVER"? THE KILLER NO ONE COULD FIND

Cinemavixion Review

In the quiet autumn of 1985, the small town of Nashville, Michigan, was irrevocably altered by the brutal murder of Rodney Fancher, a 24-year-old army veteran. This documentary delves into the chilling circumstances of Fancher's execution-style shooting, a crime that shattered the community's sense of security. The investigation quickly focused on a shadowy figure known only as Rich Hoover, the last person seen with the victim, whose elusive nature only deepened the mystery. As the police probed further, the narrative shifted towards internal conflicts, with suspicions falling on Harold Stevens, the brother-in-law of Fancher's girlfriend. The film masterfully explores two compelling theories: a botched job or a calculated act of familial betrayal, leaving viewers to ponder the true motive behind this shocking crime.
