KID WEST

Cinemavixion Review

Jesse Mast's 'Kid West' offers a charming, adventure-filled escapade centered on the spirited 12-year-old Harper. Embodying the spirit of a young cowgirl, Harper, armed with a slingshot and a sharp mind, embarks on a quest to protect a local treasure from a group of bullies. The narrative cleverly weaves elements of a cowgirl adventure with a touch of mystery, as Harper investigates an urban legend with the help of a colorful cast. The film's strength lies in its earnest portrayal of youthful determination and the simple yet engaging plot that appeals to a family audience. While perhaps not a blockbuster, 'Kid West' provides a delightful journey, celebrating bravery and community spirit in a classic Western-tinged setting, making it a commendable watch for those seeking lighthearted, inspirational storytelling.
