KARAOKE KILLER

Cinemavixion Review

In "Karaoke Killer," director Siwakorn Charupongsa unleashes Premika, a spectral songstress with a deadly vendetta. This 2017 Thai horror-comedy posits a chilling premise: a vengeful spirit, murdered within the confines of a karaoke booth, returns to exact musical retribution. Her targets? Anyone foolish enough to sing off-key. The film promises a blend of terror and dark humor as an accidental awakening unleashes Premika's wrath, turning a night of revelry into a terrifying test of vocal talent. The narrative hinges on the escalating consequences for those who fail to hit the right notes, offering a unique, if macabre, take on the supernatural slasher genre. It's a concept that invites both chills and chuckles, exploring the fine line between passionate performance and deadly offense.
