KAMP HOLLAND: A GOOD KILL

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary plunges into the complex realities faced by young Dutch soldiers deployed in Uruzgan, Afghanistan. Directed by Boris Paval Conen, 'KAMP HOLLAND: A GOOD KILL' (2016) explores the profound ethical and psychological dilemmas these soldiers encounter in the crucible of a war zone. Through the performances of Matthijs van de Sande Bakhuyzen, Lourens van den Akker, and Yannick van de Velde, the film offers a compelling look at the pressures and moral ambiguities inherent in military operations far from home. It's a thoughtful examination of the human cost of conflict and the difficult choices made under extreme duress.
