While the premise of 'Jurassic School' suggests a thrilling encounter with prehistoric marine life in the icy Antarctic, the execution unfortunately falls short of its ambitious concept. Directed by Emile Edwin Smith, the film attempts to blend science fiction with creature-feature thrills, centering on a team of researchers who find themselves in a desperate fight for survival when their Antarctic facility is infiltrated by a menacing breed of sharks. Despite the intriguing setup, the narrative struggles to build genuine suspense, and the characters, portrayed by Edward DeRuiter, Jenna Parker, and Kaiwi Lyman, remain largely underdeveloped. The film's potential for a chilling, isolated horror is hampered by pacing issues and a reliance on predictable tropes, making it a less-than-satisfying dive into the deep end of cinematic terror.
