Cinemavixion Review

This independent film, directed by Jamikel Scott, offers a compelling look at the precariousness of freedom. The narrative centers on Pooda Johnson, whose final weekend of house arrest is overshadowed by a potentially jeopardizing gathering. Scott, who also stars in the film, navigates the tension between celebration and consequence with a grounded performance. The supporting cast, including Shawn D. White and Kiana Abu-Liel, contributes to the authentic portrayal of a community on the edge. While the year of release is not specified, the film's premise invites viewers to contemplate the choices that define one's liberty and the ripple effects they create.
