JOSHUA - THE BLACK RIDER

Cinemavixion Review

Joshua - The Black Rider plunges viewers into a visceral post-Civil War America, where a black soldier, portrayed with stoic resolve, returns home to a devastating loss. The discovery of his mother's murder by a white supremacist gang ignites a burning quest for vengeance. Transformed into a bounty hunter, he embarks on a relentless pursuit, his path paved with grit and determination as he systematically hunts down those responsible. This narrative explores themes of justice, retribution, and the enduring struggle against racial injustice in a nation still reeling from conflict. The film's raw portrayal of the protagonist's grief and his unwavering commitment to avenging his mother's death offers a compelling, albeit somber, cinematic experience.
