JOLLY ROGER - MASSACRE AT CUTTER'S COVE

Cinemavixion Review

This maritime horror offering, 'Jolly Roger: Massacre at Cutter's Cove,' plunges viewers into a chilling encounter with the supernatural. Produced by The Asylum and directed by Gary Jones, the film spins a yarn about a group of friends who unwittingly awaken a vengeful pirate spirit from a cursed treasure chest. While drawing thematic parallels to beloved films like 'The Fog' and the swashbuckling adventure of 'Pirates of the Caribbean,' this independent feature carves its own niche in the horror genre. The narrative unfolds with a palpable sense of dread, as the friends grapple with the consequences of their discovery. Despite a modest IMDb rating, the film's premise offers a compelling blend of pirate lore and demonic possession, promising a frightful journey for fans seeking a B-movie thrill with a classic horror setup.
