JANE WHITE IS SICK AND TWISTED

Cinemavixion Review

Jane White is Sick and Twisted' presents a darkly comedic and satirical look at the pervasive influence of television and the often absurd lengths individuals will go to in pursuit of connection. The film centers on Jane, a young woman whose life is consumed by her television viewing habits. Her conviction that a popular talk show host is her father propels her on a chaotic odyssey. This journey is populated by a gallery of eccentric personalities and throws Jane into a series of increasingly bizarre predicaments. The narrative cleverly skewers the world of reality television and the blurred lines between public persona and private life, offering an outrageous commentary on fame and the yearning for family ties.
