ITSY BITSY

Cinemavixion Review

Micah Gallo's 'Itsy Bitsy' offers a chilling descent into arachnophobia, weaving a narrative inspired by a classic poem into a modern horror spectacle. The film masterfully builds suspense as a family relocates to a secluded mansion, only to find themselves ensnared by an ancient, malevolent entity. Bruce Davison leads a compelling cast, grounding the supernatural terror with palpable human emotion. While the premise might seem familiar, Gallo's direction injects a fresh, unsettling energy, complemented by impressive creature effects that pay homage to the iconic spider. Garnering a respectable 64% on Rotten Tomatoes, 'Itsy Bitsy' is a taut, atmospheric thriller that successfully taps into primal fears, proving itself a worthy entry in the creature-feature genre for those seeking a suspenseful and visually striking horror experience.
