IT'S WHAT'S ON THE INSIDE

Cinemavixion Review

In "It's What's on the Inside," director Eddie Vigil V crafts a poignant narrative centered on Rachel, a life coach whose agoraphobia presents a significant hurdle to her professional and personal life. The film delves into the debilitating effects of anxiety and self-doubt as Rachel faces the necessity of taking on in-person clients to maintain her livelihood. Michelle Hinsberg delivers a compelling performance as Rachel, navigating the complexities of her condition with a raw vulnerability. Supported by Michael G. Gabel and Hana Wu, and with the helpful presence of Brady, the film explores themes of overcoming internal obstacles and the importance of human connection. While details on awards and widespread reception are limited, the movie offers an intimate look at resilience and the courage required to confront one's deepest fears, making it a noteworthy independent drama.
