ISRAEL KEYES - THE UNPRECEDENTED SERIAL KILLER

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the chilling enigma of Israel Keyes, a serial killer whose modus operandi defied conventional understanding. Keyes targeted complete strangers, traversing vast distances to execute his random acts of violence. His capture, following a thwarted abduction, and the subsequent release of CCTV footage, only deepened the mystery. Lacking discernible motives, authorities found themselves adrift, a void Keyes himself seemed to relish. Confined in an Alaskan jail, he mused on his victim count, estimating around a dozen, though eight seemed a plausible figure. When pressed for a reason behind his killings, his chillingly simple response was, 'Why not?' The film probes this unsettling lack of motive, exploring the psychological abyss that allowed such calculated brutality to unfold.
