IS THE WORLD ACTUALLY RUNNING OUT OF OIL?

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the contentious debate surrounding global oil reserves, posing a critical question: are we genuinely facing a depletion of oil, or is this a narrative perpetuated by governmental bodies and the oil industry? It presents two contrasting viewpoints. On one side, proponents of the abiotic oil theory posit that oil is not a product of ancient biological matter but rather a substance that continuously regenerates within the Earth's core. Countering this, a researcher and author specializing in 'peak oil' theory asserts that the planet's oil supply is irreversibly diminishing. The film serves as an engaging exploration of these complex theories, inviting viewers to consider the implications of each perspective on our energy future.
