IS CALIFORNIA’S DEADLIEST EARTHQUAKE COMING SOONER THAN WE THINK?

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary confronts the chilling inevitability of a major seismic event in California, colloquially known as the "Big One." With the San Andreas Fault stretching over 1,200 km and threatening the lives of millions in major metropolitan areas like Los Angeles and San Francisco, the film meticulously explores the scientific underpinnings and historical context of this looming threat. It highlights the urgent race among scientists to develop an early warning system, while vividly illustrating the potentially catastrophic consequences of a magnitude 7 or 8 earthquake. The narrative compellingly presents the immense danger posed to over two-thirds of California's population and the staggering financial implications for the nation.
