IRANGELES

Cinemavixion Review

Michael Keller's "Irangeles" offers a comedic romp through cultural collision, set against the vibrant backdrop of Los Angeles. The film follows a Kansas frat boy whose life takes an unexpected turn when he falls for a Persian girl, subsequently being drawn into the colorful and often zany world of Iranian-American culture. While the film may not have garnered major awards, its charm lies in its earnest exploration of cross-cultural romance and the humorous situations that arise from differing traditions. "Irangeles" provides a lighthearted, albeit niche, look at the complexities of love and belonging in a diverse urban landscape, making it an interesting watch for those seeking a unique blend of comedy and cultural insight.
