IRAN: PEOPLE OF THE FLAME WITH DAVID ADAMS

Cinemavixion Review

David Adams embarks on an ambitious expedition into Iran, a land often shrouded in mystery and geopolitical intrigue. This documentary offers a rare glimpse "behind the veil," challenging preconceived notions by revealing a nation populated by remarkably hospitable people. Adams's journey traverses the vibrant energy of Tehran, ventures into the historical intrigue of the Valley of the Assassins, and arrives at ancient cities that echo the footsteps of Marco Polo. More than a mere travelogue, the film delves into the spiritual heart of Iran, seeking out the elusive Fire Worshippers of Yazd, one of the world's least-known religious sects. It is a compelling exploration of culture, history, and the enduring human spirit in a region rich with ancient traditions and contemporary complexities.
