IO TIGRO, TU TIGRI, EGLI TIGRA

Cinemavixion Review

"Io tigro, tu tigri, egli tigra" (1978), directed by Giorgio Capitani and Renato Pozzetto, is a delightful Italian comedy that showcases the unique humor of its stars. The film, featuring a screenplay by Enzo Jannacci, Cochi Ponzoni, and Pozzetto himself, presents three distinct narrative threads, each imbued with an absurd and charming sensibility characteristic of Italian comedic cinema. The ensemble cast, including the always-reliable Paolo Villaggio alongside Cochi and Renato, delivers performances that are both endearing and laugh-out-loud funny. While specific awards or extensive critical reception details are scarce, the film's enduring appeal lies in its lighthearted approach to storytelling and its celebration of comedic talent. It's a charming piece of Italian cinema, particularly recommended for fans of the lead actors' signature styles.
