INVISIBLE REVENGE

Cinemavixion Review

Invisible Revenge, a 2017 sci-fi thriller, presents a compelling, albeit familiar, narrative inspired by H.G. Wells' "The Invisible Man." The film charts the descent of scientist Griffin, whose profound grief over his son's murder fuels a dangerous obsession with invisibility as a tool for vengeance. Partnering with his assistant, Faith, Griffin achieves the ultimate scientific breakthrough, gaining the power to become unseen. However, the narrative wisely explores the psychological toll of this power, illustrating a harrowing internal conflict as the pursuit of retribution erodes Griffin's sanity. The film grapples with the dual nature of scientific advancement and the corrupting influence of revenge, questioning whether the means justify the end when the mind itself becomes the ultimate casualty.
