INVASION OF THE ANIMAL PEOPLE

Cinemavixion Review

Virgil W. Vogel's "Invasion of the Animal People" plunges viewers into the stark, remote wilderness of Lapland, a setting as unforgiving as the alien threat it harbors. The film crafts a chilling narrative around a mysterious furry creature, an extraterrestrial agent of chaos, that seizes a woman and imperils a team of scientists. While the premise leans into classic sci-fi B-movie territory, the execution promises a tense encounter between humanity and the unknown. The performances, led by Barbara Wilson, Sten Gester, and Robert Burton, navigate the perilous landscape and the escalating danger, striving to convey the primal fear of being hunted by an otherworldly force. This is a film that capitalizes on its isolated setting to build suspense, offering a glimpse into the potential consequences when the familiar world is invaded by the utterly alien.
