INTO THE FLAMES

Cinemavixion Review

Michael Mandaville's "Into the Flames" plunges viewers into a chaotic scenario where a botched robbery spirals into an unexpected hostage situation. The film, released in 2020, stars Hayes Beyersdorfer, Janna Bossier, and Adrian Colon as a group of unsuspecting cannabis entrepreneurs who find themselves at the mercy of two desperate robbers. The premise, as detailed in both sources, promises a blend of dark comedy and suspense, as the perpetrators resort to unconventional tactics, including the use of edibles, to control their captives. While the film may not have garnered widespread critical acclaim, its unique setup and the ensuing mayhem offer a potentially wild ride for audiences seeking something off the beaten path. The narrative's strength lies in its escalating absurdity, as the robbers' attempt to find refuge quickly transforms into a test of wills in a very unusual setting.
