INTO THE FLAMES

Cinemavixion Review

"Into the Flames" plunges viewers into a chaotic scenario where a botched robbery leads two desperate criminals into an unexpected hostage situation. The film, directed by Michael Mandaville, features a compelling performance from Hayes Beyersdorfer as one of the increasingly desperate robbers. The premise, involving a gathering of cannabis entrepreneurs and the ensuing mayhem caused by forced consumption of edibles, promises a darkly comedic, yet tense, experience. While the external data suggests a modest critical reception with an IMDb rating of 3.3/10, the narrative's core—exploring the escalating desperation and unpredictable consequences of criminal actions—offers a unique, if unsettling, exploration of human behavior under pressure. This independent feature is worth a watch for its bold premise and the raw energy it brings to the screen.
