INTO THE COLD: A JOURNEY OF THE SOUL

Cinemavixion Review

Sebastian Copeland's "Into the Cold: A Journey of the Soul" is a stark and visceral documentary that chronicles an arduous expedition to the North Pole. The film immerses viewers in the bone-chilling reality of traversing over 400 miles on foot in temperatures plummeting below -50 degrees Fahrenheit. Copeland and Keith Heger's journey is not merely a physical feat but a profound exploration of the human spirit, testing the limits of bravery, courage, and sheer determination against the backdrop of a magnificent yet fragile Arctic landscape. Released in 2010, this documentary serves as a powerful testament to endurance and a poignant reflection on the rapidly changing polar environment.
