INTERVIEW WITH A SERIAL KILLER: ARTHUR SHAWCROSS

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the disturbing psyche of Arthur Shawcross, a figure responsible for the horrific murders of at least eleven women and two children, earning him the grim moniker 'The Genesee River Killer.' Through an extraordinary interview, Shawcross is examined by a psychiatrist, who diagnoses him as a psychopath with a profoundly troubling childhood. The film does not shy away from the gruesome details of his crimes, as Shawcross himself discusses his acts of cannibalism and mutilation, painting a chilling portrait of one of America's most notorious serial killers. The raw, unflinching nature of this examination offers a rare, albeit deeply unsettling, glimpse into the mind of extreme violence.
