INTERREFLECTIONS

Cinemavixion Review

Peter Joseph's "Interreflections" (2020) presents a thought-provoking, albeit lengthy, exploration of societal structures and the potential for radical change. Clocking in at a substantial 165 minutes, this documentary-drama delves into the genesis of a global counter-culture revolution, urging viewers to critically examine the foundations of the modern world. Joseph, known for his "Zeitgeist" series, continues his examination of systemic issues with a focus on survival and the human capacity for adaptation. While the film may challenge viewers with its ambitious scope and philosophical underpinnings, its earnest inquiry into alternative societal models makes it a compelling watch for those interested in critical social commentary and utopian thought. The inclusion of actors like Chris Silcox alongside emerging talents suggests a commitment to a raw, authentic portrayal of its themes. "Interreflections" is not merely a film, but an invitation to introspection about our collective future.
