INTENSIVE CARE

Cinemavixion Review

In the tense thriller "Intensive Care," director Jared Bentley crafts a narrative that pits three small-time criminals against a formidable, unexpected adversary. The plot, which centers on a botched home invasion targeting an elderly woman, takes a sharp turn when the seemingly meek live-in nurse reveals a capacity for trouble far exceeding the robbers' expectations. While specific reception details and awards for this 2018 production remain elusive, the premise itself promises a contained, character-driven conflict. The film's strength lies in its straightforward, yet potentially suspenseful, setup, offering a gritty exploration of desperation and the surprising resilience found in the most unassuming of characters. It's a film that leans into its thriller elements, suggesting a watch for those who appreciate a good cat-and-mouse dynamic within a confined setting.
