INSTINCT TO KILL

Cinemavixion Review

"Instinct to Kill" plunges viewers into a relentless cat-and-mouse game, masterfully directed by Gustavo Graef Marino. Mark Dacascos delivers a compelling performance as the escaped killer James Becket, whose pursuit of his wife Tess is as chilling as it is brutal. Missy Crider, as Tess, embodies a desperate struggle for survival, while Tim Abell’s J.T. Dillon provides a solid counterpoint, a man driven to protect her. The narrative, enriched by details of Becket's psychological torment and Dillon's past, escalates with palpable tension towards an inevitable confrontation. While the film leans into its action thriller roots, it’s the underlying themes of obsession and the primal drive to survive that resonate, making for a gripping viewing experience that fans of the genre will find particularly satisfying.
