INSTA FAMOUS

Cinemavixion Review

In the short, yet impactful, 2021 film "Insta Famous," director Brandon Cornett delves into the modern-day obsession with social media validation. The narrative follows three high school students, portrayed by Leonard Reeves, Pary Chahal, and Marcus Jenkins, as they navigate the treacherous path to online notoriety. Their desperate attempts to achieve "Instafame" serve as a commentary on the lengths to which individuals will go in the pursuit of digital celebrity. While the film is brief, its exploration of contemporary youth culture and the pressures of online presence offers a thought-provoking glimpse into a pervasive aspect of modern life.
