INSIDE THE EDGE: A PROFESSIONAL BLACKJACK ADVENTURE

Cinemavixion Review

Chris Buddy's "Inside the Edge: A Professional Blackjack Adventure" offers a compelling look into the secretive world of high-stakes blackjack. The film masterfully follows KC, a second-generation player, through his final years on the circuit, capturing the intense cat-and-mouse game between skilled players and casino security. Buddy utilizes years of footage and interviews with prominent figures in the gambling community, including James Grosjean and John Chang, to demystify a community that often operates in the shadows. Beyond the thrill of the game, the documentary delves into the discipline, strategy, and psychological fortitude required to succeed at the highest level. It's a fascinating exploration of risk, reward, and the constant vigilance needed to navigate one of the world's most exclusive and challenging professions, all presented with an insider's perspective.
