INSIDE SAUDI ARABIA

Cinemavixion Review

This four-part documentary, 'Inside Saudi Arabia,' offers an unflinching look at a nation undergoing seismic shifts. Narrated by journalist Sinan Can, the series provides an intimate year-long chronicle of Saudi Arabia, focusing on the ambitious reforms initiated by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The documentary skillfully weaves together the personal narratives of its citizens, illustrating the complex interplay between modernization, aspiration, and the inevitable repercussions. Set against the shadow of the deeply troubling murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, the series poses a critical question: do these reforms signify genuine progress, or are they a carefully constructed illusion? 'Inside Saudi Arabia' courageously explores the true price of societal metamorphosis in a country confronting its history while forging a new future.
