INSIDE PERU'S ILLEGAL DRUG EMPIRE | MEET THE DRUG LORDS: INSIDE THE REAL NARCOS | 3/3

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary plunges viewers into the heart of Peru's illicit drug trade, specifically focusing on 'Cocaine Valley,' a notorious region nestled in the Andes. The film navigates the treacherous terrain to meet the producers who fuel the global cocaine market, revealing the scale of production where hundreds of tonnes are manufactured annually. It offers a raw, unfiltered look at the logistics and individuals behind this pervasive industry, highlighting the stark realities of a clandestine empire operating in the shadows. A compelling, if sobering, exploration of a critical nexus in the international drug trade.
