INSIDE INDIANA'S MOST DANGEROUS WOMEN'S PRISON

Cinemavixion Review

Sir Trevor McDonald's unflinching gaze penetrates the formidable walls of Indiana's most perilous women's prisons in this gripping documentary. The veteran broadcaster offers a stark, unvarnished look at lives shaped by extreme circumstances. We are introduced to Dawn Hopkins, a woman serving a life sentence for the tragic murder of her infant son, and Sarah 'Cindy' White, whose incarceration began in her teenage years, condemning her to a lifetime behind bars. Particularly compelling is the narrative of Linda Darby, whose audacious escape in 1972 led to 35 years evading the law before finally being apprehended. McDonald's empathetic yet direct interviewing style allows the inmates' stories to unfold with raw honesty, providing a sobering insight into the realities of long-term incarceration and the complex paths that lead individuals to such fates.
