INSIDE BROADMOOR

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary offers a chillingly intimate look into Broadmoor, the UK's notorious high-security psychiatric hospital. Drawing on rare access and firsthand accounts, it navigates the complex history of a facility long associated with scandal and reform. The film compellingly contrasts past abuses with present-day realities, featuring insights from staff and insiders who illuminate the challenging work of managing some of the nation's most disturbed offenders. It's a vital, albeit unsettling, exploration of the intersection of mental health care and the criminal justice system, prompting reflection on the human stories behind the headlines.
