INSECTICIDAL

Cinemavixion Review

Jeffery Scott Lando's 2005 creature feature, "Insecticidal," offers a chilling descent into a sorority house overrun by mutated insects. The film centers on Cami, an entomology student whose research takes a terrifying turn when her sister Josi's careless use of insecticide triggers a horrifying transformation in the insect population. What begins as a scientific endeavor quickly escalates into a desperate fight for survival as the house becomes a deathtrap, with the mutated creatures growing in size and ferocity. Starring Meghan Heffern, Rhonda Dent, and Travis Watters, "Insecticidal" taps into primal fears of infestation and the unknown consequences of unchecked scientific experimentation. While the film may not boast the accolades of larger productions, its premise delivers a potent dose of B-movie horror, making it a compelling watch for fans of creature features and suspenseful thrillers.
