Cinemavixion Review

This documentary, 'Inner City Stables,' offers a compelling glimpse into the enduring legacy of Black cowboys and their impact on urban youth. The film centers on the Cedar Lane Stables, a sanctuary where the principles of horsemanship are used to instill respect and discipline. Through the narratives of individuals like Mikey, a teenager whose life has been positively redirected by the stables, and the seasoned wisdom of former rodeo champion Ben, the documentary illustrates how the spirit of the West thrives even within a challenging urban landscape. It's a powerful exploration of mentorship, tradition, and the transformative nature of connecting with these historic equestrian traditions.
