INNER ACTION

Cinemavixion Review

"Inner Action" plunges viewers into a world of moral ambiguity and redemption, anchored by a compelling premise. Damian Lee's 1997 crime drama explores the difficult path of John Ryan, a former criminal seeking to atone for his past by becoming a detective. The narrative gains immediate traction as Ryan is drawn into a dangerous assignment to protect a woman from her vengeful ex-husband, who also happens to be a figure from Ryan's own checkered history. The film adeptly balances gritty action with the internal struggles of its protagonist. Michelle Johnson and Douglas O'Keeffe deliver performances that underscore the high stakes of this personal and professional entanglement. "Inner Action" offers a solid exploration of loyalty, betrayal, and the arduous journey toward a second chance, making it a noteworthy entry in the crime thriller genre.
