Cinemavixion Review

In 'INGENIUM: ESCAPE FROM THE NIGHTMARES', director Steffen Hacker presents a psychological thriller where the lines between reality and delusion blur for the protagonist, Felicitas. Her world unravels as she grapples with increasingly vivid nightmares, leading her to question whether she is losing her grip on sanity or if a more sinister external force is at play. The narrative hinges on her desperate attempt to reach her best friend, Natascha, who is confined within an asylum, suggesting a deep connection and a potential key to unlocking the truth behind Felicitas's torment. The film delves into themes of mental health, friendship, and the struggle for control in the face of overwhelming psychological distress.
