INGENIUM

Cinemavixion Review

In 'Ingenium', we are presented with a chilling descent into psychological turmoil. The narrative follows a woman grappling with the fracturing of her own reality, seeking solace and perhaps an anchor in the form of a friend within the confines of an asylum. This premise offers a potent exploration of mental health, the subjective nature of perception, and the desperate human need for connection even in the most isolating circumstances. The film, released in 2021, delves into the fragile boundaries between sanity and madness, posing unsettling questions about what constitutes reality when one's mind becomes the primary adversary. It is a work that demands introspection, inviting the viewer to contemplate the depths of the human psyche and the profound impact of isolation.
