INDUCED

Cinemavixion Review

Johnnard Harper's 'Induced' plunges audiences into a primal fear, exploring the terrifying vulnerability of impending parenthood. The narrative centers on an expectant couple seeking a serene, natural childbirth in isolation, only to find their sanctuary invaded by a relentless, predatory midwife. This premise, chilling in its simplicity, taps into deep-seated anxieties about bodily autonomy and the sanctity of the birthing process. The film masterfully crafts an atmosphere of suffocating dread, turning the remote cabin into a claustrophobic battleground. While the IMDb rating suggests a mixed reception, the film's commitment to its unsettling premise and its exploration of maternal instincts twisted into something monstrous are certainly noteworthy. 'Induced' offers a tense, visceral thriller that preys on the primal fears surrounding childbirth and the fierce, protective instincts of parents-to-be.
