INCIDENT AT GUILT RIDGE

Cinemavixion Review

"Incident At Guilt Ridge" plunges viewers into the dusty, unforgiving landscape of the 1880s American West, offering a gritty tale of two disparate rogues, Dev and Jonas. Directed by Joe Cornet, who also stars, the film charts a course through a seemingly simple heist that spirals into a complex entanglement with a powerful mining magnate. Cornet and his cast, including notable performances from Curt Lambert and Kelsey Bohlen, navigate the treacherous moral terrain with a palpable sense of desperation. While the narrative might tread familiar Western ground, its exploration of greed and the blurred lines between law and lawlessness provides a compelling, if understated, cinematic experience. The film's compact runtime ensures a brisk pace, making it an efficient and engaging dive into a classic Western setup with a modern sensibility.
