IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE

Cinemavixion Review

Micki Dickoff's 1996 film, 'In the Blink of an Eye,' offers a poignant exploration of loyalty and the complexities of second chances. The narrative centers on a filmmaker who steps away from her professional life to support a friend recently released from a lengthy prison sentence. While the film may not have garnered widespread accolades, its strength lies in its grounded portrayal of human connection and the enduring impact of past actions. The performances, particularly from Mimi Rogers who appears in both data sets, anchor the emotional core of the story. This is a film that invites contemplation on forgiveness and the challenges of reintegrating into society after incarceration, providing a thoughtful, character-driven experience.
