IN SEARCH OF LOVECRAFT

Cinemavixion Review

This independent horror offering delves into the unsettling universe of H.P. Lovecraft, presenting a premise where the author's fictional horrors bleed into reality. The narrative follows a reporter who uncovers the terrifying truth behind Lovecraft's tales, suggesting that the creatures and cults are not mere figments of imagination. While the film may not boast blockbuster production values, its strength lies in its commitment to the cosmic dread inherent in Lovecraftian lore. The performances, particularly from Renee Sweet as the investigative reporter, anchor the unfolding mystery. For fans of low-budget, atmospheric horror that leans into the psychological and the unknown, "In Search Of Lovecraft" offers a compelling, albeit grim, exploration of a world where nightmares are disturbingly real.
