IL VERO E IL FALSO

Cinemavixion Review

Eriprando Visconti's 1972 film 'Il vero e il falso' (The True and the False) presents a gripping tale of betrayal and revenge. The plot follows Luisa Latin, who, after being wrongfully imprisoned for the murder of her husband's lover, discovers the woman is still alive. Upon her release, Luisa takes matters into her own hands, enacting a deadly retribution. While the film features notable actors such as Terence Hill, Martin Balsam, and Paola Pitagora, its narrative complexity and exploration of justice and its perversion make it a compelling watch within the crime and thriller genres.
