IL TEOREMA DELLA FELICITÀ

Cinemavixion Review

In "Il Teorema Della Felicità" (The Theorem of Happiness), director Luca Fortino crafts a poignant narrative set against the backdrop of Palermo's first drastic lockdown in March 2020. The film centers on Antonio, a nine-year-old boy, whose world is profoundly shaped by his encounters with his grandfather, Giuseppe, a dedicated puppeteer. This intimate story, starring Anna Attademo, Roberto Attias, and Marie-Ange Barbancourt, explores themes of connection and resilience during a time of unprecedented global change. While external data indicates a Canadian-Italian co-production, the heart of the film remains firmly rooted in its Italian setting and emotional core, offering a touching look at intergenerational bonds amidst isolation.
