IF MONEY CAN DESTROY THE LOVE

Cinemavixion Review

This crime thriller plunges viewers into the grim underbelly of Moscow, where a perplexing series of murders unfolds. Each perpetrator meets their end shortly after their crime, leaving the police baffled and without a clear lead on the mastermind. Amidst this chaos, Major Sergey Odintsov finds himself sidelined by a debilitating injury, yet his investigative spirit remains undimmed. His personal life, however, is a storm of its own: his daughter's critical illness demands costly medication, and his car's disrepair exacerbates his woes. An unexpected, morally compromising 'solution' emerges through a lottery win, contingent on a chilling condition – taking a human life. The narrative masterfully intertwines a high-stakes investigation with the profound personal struggles of its protagonist, creating a tense and ethically charged drama.
