IF I TELL YOU I HAVE TO KILL YOU

Cinemavixion Review

Kennedy Goldsby's "If I Tell You I Have to Kill You" plunges into a dark, metaphysical mystery that grips from the outset. The film centers on a professor of religious studies whose pursuit of justice for murdered students unravels a deeply personal and existential crisis. Obba Babatundé delivers a compelling performance, anchoring the narrative with a gravitas that reflects the character's profound internal struggle. The supporting cast, including veteran actors Tom Sizemore and Keith David, adds significant weight to the unfolding drama. Goldsby masterfully blends elements of thriller and philosophical inquiry, exploring themes of life, death, and rebirth through a narrative that is both intellectually stimulating and emotionally resonant. While the film's IMDb rating suggests a niche appeal, its ambitious storytelling and strong performances make it a thought-provoking watch for audiences seeking a more introspective cinematic experience.
