IDLED

Cinemavixion Review

Andy Rayner's "Idled" offers a poignant, albeit brief, exploration of male friendship and the often-unforeseen shifts in life's trajectory. The film, starring Ryan de Quintal, Shannon Murray, and Robin Zamora, navigates the complexities of relationships through the lens of Val's memories as he embarks on a journey to see his brother. While the external data suggests a narrative centered on two friends grappling with life-altering events and a subsequent journey of self-discovery, the local description emphasizes a ride through Val's memories of Mickey, highlighting the nuances of various relationship stages. Despite these slight thematic divergences in summary, the core elements of the production—its year, director, and lead actors—remain consistent. "Idled" appears to be an intimate character study, inviting viewers to reflect on the evolving nature of companionship and personal growth, suggesting that "every ending has its middle."
