ICE HOUSE

Cinemavixion Review

Steven Elbert's "Ice House" plunges viewers into the chilling isolation of a Minnesota winter, where a seemingly innocent fishing trip between friends, Grant and Wayne, devolves into a tense psychological thriller. The film masterfully builds suspense as the camaraderie between the two men unravels, revealing hidden secrets and sinister agendas beneath the frozen surface. Michael Alexander and Greg Berman deliver compelling performances, navigating the complex emotional landscape of their characters. While the narrative explores themes of trust and betrayal, the stark cinematography and claustrophobic setting amplify the growing sense of dread. "Ice House" is a gripping exploration of how quickly deceptive appearances can lead to deadly consequences, offering a stark reminder of the darkness that can lurk even in the most serene environments.
