I THINK MY BABYSITTER'S AN ALIEN

Cinemavixion Review

In "I Think My Babysitter's an Alien," director R.L. Scott delivers a charming family-friendly science fiction tale that explores the wonders of the unknown through the eyes of a child. Released in 2015, the film stars Sabrina Bryan, Jearnest Corchado, and Matt Cornett, who bring a relatable energy to their roles. The narrative centers on a family whose lives take an unexpected turn when a piece of an asteroid, brought home by a returning astronaut, seems to usher in extraterrestrial activity. Nine-year-old Katie's suspicions about aliens in their midst form the core of this imaginative story, blending childhood curiosity with classic sci-fi tropes. While the film may not boast major awards or widespread critical acclaim, it offers a lighthearted and engaging viewing experience, particularly for younger audiences fascinated by space and the possibility of life beyond Earth. Its simple yet effective plot, combined with a solid cast performance, makes "I Think My Babysitter's an Alien" a pleasant discovery for family movie nights.
